Sisterhood

Sisterhood, a chapter of Women of Reform Judaism, offers meaningful opportunities for women to connect, learn, lead, and support one another through Jewish life. Our programs encourage personal growth, community involvement, service, and lifelong learning in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Sisterhood fosters a strong sense of fellowship among members and partners with Congregation Schaarai Zedek to provide social, educational, and spiritual programming throughout the year.

Who We Are

Sisterhood is made up of women of all ages and life stages. Members include working professionals, stay at home parents, single parents, retirees, and women who are married, single, divorced, or widowed. Every voice and background adds something valuable to our community.

What We Do

Sisterhood supports and enhances congregational life by offering programs and volunteer opportunities that encourage:

  • Personal enrichment
  • Jewish learning and engagement
  • Community service
  • Connection and friendship
  • Living a meaningful Jewish life

We also support synagogue initiatives, host special events, and help create a welcoming environment for all who participate.
